Insense alternatives for UGC campaigns
Insense charges brands a plan plus a percentage of every creator payment: a one-month Trial from $650 with a 20% fee, Brand from $500 a month billed quarterly with 10%, or Agency from $800 a month with 7%. If you want creator jobs without a plan, Socialync’s UGC job board charges 5% of agreed creator pay on organic jobs, counted when delivery is confirmed, and $0 in a month with nothing delivered.
Insense prices and policies checked on October 23, 2026.
On organic jobs there is no break-even point: every Insense fee rate is above 5%, and the plan is extra. At $3,000 of creator pay in a month, the Brand plan costs $800 on top of that pay, and Socialync’s fee is $150. The higher price pays for creator search, a screened pool, perpetual digital rights on approved content, managed services and 44 published case studies. If you need those now, Insense is the better fit.
Socialync is our product. Every Insense figure on this page comes from Insense’s own pages, its App Store listing or its Trustpilot profile, checked October 23, 2026, and each source is linked at the bottom of the page.
Name check: this page covers Insense at insense.pro, the UGC and influencer marketplace run by Insense Ads, Inc. in New York, and its Insense for Creators app. Search engines often swap the name for incense, the burning resin, so results for the two get mixed.

How Insense UGC works
For brands
- You pick a plan. The Trial covers 1 campaign and up to 10 creators for a month, then becomes the quarterly Brand plan unless you cancel at least 48 hours before it ends.
- You write a brief, Insense reviews it, and creators apply in the app. Insense says most brands get their first applications within 48 hours and their first UGC within 14 days, depending on product shipping and edits.
- You top up your balance to cover the creators you hire plus the fee. Creators quote a price you can negotiate; Insense says UGC starts at $100 a video.
- You get up to 3 revision rounds, then approve and Insense pays the creator from your balance. Leave content unanswered for 21 days and the deal closes with the creator paid.
- For ads, you request Meta Partnership Ads connections (1, 10 or unlimited by plan) or collect TikTok Spark Ads codes in chat.
For creators
- Creators join through the free Insense app and pass a manual review: 1,000+ Instagram followers, 500+ median TikTok views, 1% engagement and a UGC portfolio.
- Once hired, the creator’s pay is frozen from the brand’s balance and moves to their Insense wallet after approval.
- Withdrawals reach PayPal within 3 working days or a bank within 5. Insense’s creator terms allow a percentage commission on transfers.
Who pays whom
On Insense, you pay Insense the plan, the creator budget and a marketplace fee on each creator payment. The budget sits in your Insense balance until you approve the work. Insense says the fee covers a 5 to 10% payment facilitation fee and a 5 to 10% service fee.
Unused balance carries over or is refunded on request. Plan charges are not refundable, apart from a first-campaign money-back guarantee.
On Socialync, creator pay never passes through Socialync. The brand pays the creator directly. US creators are paid on Socialync's pay page through their own Stripe account; elsewhere the two sides settle directly and Socialync verifies the delivery.
Socialync bills you its own fee on a separate monthly invoice. Socialync takes nothing from creator pay. Stripe's processing fee comes out of in-app payments, because the creator is the merchant of record.
Insense pricing
Insense publishes its self-service prices. The plan covers the software; creator pay is budgeted separately, with the marketplace fee added to each payment.
| Plan | Price | Billing | What it includes | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | From $650 for one month | Becomes the quarterly Brand plan unless cancelled 48 hours before it ends | 1 seat, 1 brand, 1 Partnership Ads connection, 1 campaign, up to 10 creators. 20% fee | insense.pro/pricing |
| Brand | From $500 a month ($1,500 a quarter), or $400 a month billed yearly ($4,800) | Renews every 3 months, or yearly | 2 seats, 1 brand, 10 Partnership Ads connections, unlimited campaigns and creators. 10% fee | insense.pro/pricing |
| Agency | From $800 a month ($2,400 a quarter), or $640 a month billed yearly ($7,680) | Renews every 3 months, or yearly | 4 seats, 5 brands, unlimited Partnership Ads connections. 7% fee | insense.pro/pricing |
| Dedicated Platform Manager | From $2,500 a month | The Brand plan plus a specialist who runs your campaigns. Creator cost not included | insense.pro/managed-service-pricing | |
| Ready-to-go UGC videos | From $3,500 for 8 videos | 2 creators, 4 concepts in 2 variations, raw footage. Creator cost included | insense.pro/managed-service-pricing |
Add-ons: $30 a month per extra seat, $100 a month per extra brand, $125 a month per 5 more Partnership Ads connections. Add-on fees are not refundable.
Money-back guarantee: if your first campaign draws fewer than 5 applicants matching your brief’s measurable filters (location, audience size, engagement rate) within 7 days, you contact Insense and it suggests changes, such as a revised brief or a longer trial. If the campaign still has fewer than 5 applicants 7 days after those changes, Insense refunds the subscription fee.
The managed-service prices are samples of a common setup. Insense tailors the final quote to the creators, requirements and concepts.
Insense’s general FAQ page still describes a month-to-month plan and a 15%/20% fee. The pricing page and the May 29, 2026 Terms of Service describe the terms used here. Confirm with Insense before you sign.

Fees: Insense vs Socialync
| Fee | Insense | Socialync | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly software | $500 to $800 a month billed quarterly ($400 to $640 billed yearly); $650 for the Trial month | $0 | Insense bills per quarter or per year up front. Socialync has no fixed cost. |
| Fee on creator pay | 20%, 10% or 7% by plan | 5% of agreed creator pay on organic jobs | On a $1,000 job: $100 on Insense Brand, $50 on Socialync. Insense’s fee includes payment processing; Stripe’s comes out of in-app payments to US creators on Socialync. |
| A month with $3,000 of creator pay | Brand $800, Agency $1,010, Trial month $1,250, on top of creator pay | $150 on top of creator pay | Brand is $500 of the quarterly plan plus a $300 fee. |
| Paid ads use | Perpetual digital rights once content is approved and paid for; ads run from the creator’s handle default to 30 days unless the brief sets a term; Partnership Ads connections capped by plan | Ads deals pay the creator commission only, with no base at delivery, and launch as Meta partnership ads or Spark Ads in your own ad account. Socialync charges 1.5% of attributed sales or 1.25% of ad spend, never both | For flat-price ad files with no commission, Insense fits better. On a leads, clicks or views goal, Socialync’s fee follows your ad spend whatever the creator earns: $250 on $20,000 of spend in a month. |
| Seats and caps | 1, 2 or 4 seats; 1 or 5 brands; the Trial allows 1 campaign and 10 creators | No seats. One live campaign until a creator has been paid through Socialync, then no limit | Socialync takes up to 500 creators per campaign. Your first campaign can commit up to $2,500 in total creator pay, and that cap lifts for good once your first payment to a creator completes. |
Socialync's fee is billed to the brand on its own invoice, monthly. The full breakdown is on the brand pricing page.
Insense review: ratings and reported numbers
App Store: the Insense for Creators app holds 4.66 stars from 3,127 ratings, version 4.6.24 released October 22, 2026. Trustpilot: 3.6 from 192 reviews on a claimed profile, checked October 23, 2026. The App Store score reflects creators only.
Insense’s own figures, as it reports them: 115K+ creators in 57+ countries, 2 in 10 applicants accepted, and $8M paid out to creators since 2020. Its home page says 3,500+ brands, apps and agencies use it, and its creator marketplace page says 5,000+. Its sitemap lists 44 case studies. Socialync has no published case studies yet.
Who should choose Insense, and who should choose Socialync
Choose Insense if
- You want to search for creators, with filters on gender, age and location and outreach across 7M+ influencer profiles. Socialync has no creator directory, by design.
- You want flat-price UGC files to reuse in your own ads. Insense grants perpetual digital rights and says UGC starts at $100 a video.
- You want a screened pool. Insense says it accepts 2 in 10 creator applicants and reviews every brief.
- You want creator pay held until you approve, with tax paperwork handled and a first-campaign refund guarantee.
- You want it run for you: a platform manager from $2,500 a month, or 8 ready-made videos from $3,500.
- You run TikTok Shop, affiliate or YouTube Partnership Ads campaigns. Socialync has no TikTok Shop deals, and its ads deals run on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok only.
Choose Socialync if
- You want no quarterly commitment. You pay 5% of agreed creator pay on delivered organic jobs, and $0 in a quiet month.
- You want the post on the creator’s own account, published through Socialync and attached to the job, with no balance to fund.
- You want applicants filtered before you read a word. Brands set countries, languages, niches, and minimum followers and average views per platform. Creators who do not clear the floor never see the job.
- You want stats from the source. Follower counts come from the creator’s connected account, and average views come from the posts they publish through Socialync, read from the platform API. No screenshots, no self-reported numbers.
- You want organic jobs past TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Campaigns also run on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky, eight networks in all.
- You want unlimited revision rounds. Insense’s terms include 3 and charge for more. On Socialync you get 7 days to rule on each draft, and TikTok and Instagram campaign posts go out with the platform’s paid partnership label switched on.
Three deal types run on the board: organic posts, whitelisting and partnership ads, and UGC videos for your own ads.

Every platform side by side, with fees and who holds the money: UGC platform alternatives compared.
If you make UGC on Insense
You can work on both. Insense asks for 1,000+ Instagram followers, 500+ median TikTok views, a 1% engagement rate and a UGC portfolio, then reviews your profile by hand. Socialync asks for no portfolio; each brand sets its own floor, and a job you do not qualify for never shows up.
On Insense, your pay is frozen from the brand’s balance when you are hired, moves to your Insense wallet after approval, and reaches PayPal within 3 working days of your request or a bank within 5. Its creator terms allow a percentage commission on that transfer. They also give brands perpetual digital and connected TV rights to approved content, with ads from your handle limited to 30 days unless the brief sets another term.
On Socialync the brand pays you directly. US creators are paid on Socialync’s pay page into their own Stripe account, with Stripe’s processing fee deducted; creators elsewhere settle with the brand. Socialync takes nothing from your pay, and the licence follows the deal, 12 months by default. Applying is free and unlimited. A free account works one job at a time and a paid plan works five at once. The marketplace is 18+ on both sides.
Questions brands ask about Insense alternatives
What is the best Insense alternative?
For organic creator posts with no plan, Socialync charges 5% of agreed creator pay on delivered jobs. For finished ad videos at a price per video, look at Billo. For commission-based creator ads, Trybe charges 1.5% of attributed sales or 1.25% of ad spend, the same rates as Socialync’s ads deals, and 1.5% of creator earnings on flat-rate work. For TikTok Shop, look at JoinBrands. Socialync is our product, so check the fee table against your own spend.
How much does Insense cost?
Trial from $650 for one month. Brand from $500 a month billed quarterly ($1,500) or $400 a month billed yearly. Agency from $800 a month billed quarterly or $640 billed yearly. Creator pay is separate, plus a 20%, 10% or 7% fee on each creator payment. Checked on insense.pro/pricing on October 23, 2026.
What is the Insense marketplace fee?
A percentage added to each creator payment: 20% on Trial, 10% on Brand, 7% on Agency. On $3,000 of creator pay, that is $600, $300 or $210.
Is the Insense app legit?
Insense Ads, Inc. lists an office at 31 West 34th Street in New York, publishes its prices and terms, and reports $8M paid to creators since 2020. Its creator app holds 4.66 stars from 3,127 App Store ratings, and Trustpilot shows 3.6 from 192 reviews, both checked October 23, 2026. Read recent brand reviews before you commit to a quarter.
Insense vs Billo: which fits better?
Billo sells finished videos at a price per video, from $99 with creator pay and fees included, and needs no subscription to order. Insense charges a plan plus a percentage of creator pay, and each creator quotes a price you can negotiate. Both offer Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads. Billo suits a brand that wants a known cost per video file. Insense suits a brand running ongoing UGC and influencer campaigns from a larger pool: 115K+ creators against Billo’s 5,000+, as each company reports.
Does Insense hold creator payments?
Yes. You top up a balance before hiring, and each payment stays frozen until you approve the content. If you leave delivered content unanswered for 21 days, the campaign closes and the creator is paid. On Socialync, nobody holds creator pay: you pay the creator directly.
When does the Socialync job board open?
November 1, 2026 at 12:01pm Eastern. Brands can build campaigns now, and founding campaigns go live the moment the board opens. Nothing is charged until a job is delivered.
