UGC rate calculator
Work out what to charge for a UGC video, a sponsored post or Spark Ads. Switch to brand mode and it becomes an influencer pricing calculator: what to budget, with the Socialync fee included. Every rate comes from a published guide or report, linked to its source. The numbers you type stay in your browser.
Months the ad runs from the creator's own handle.
Reported range $100 to $500, typical $175.

On the Socialync job board the brand pays you directly, and Socialync takes nothing from your pay.
- A file bought for ads needs paid ad use. Add the months above. Influee puts usage rights at 30 to 50 percent of the base, and PitchBrand at 20 to 30 percent per month. (Influee, PitchBrand)
- PitchBrand reports 3 to 6 months of organic use on the brand's own channels as commonly included in the base. (PitchBrand)
On the Socialync job board, brands put the pay and the usage rights on the listing before you apply. The board opens November 1 at 12:01 PM ET. What paid UGC jobs look like
Join the UGC job boardHow the calculator builds a rate
It starts from one base figure for the deliverable, then puts each extra on its own line so you can see what it adds.
- The base. A UGC video file uses figures from Influee: around $100 for beginners, a median near $175 and $500 or more for experienced creators. A post on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube uses the 2026 rates from Influencer Marketing Hub for the creator's follower tier. A post on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads or Bluesky uses Influee's video range plus its 20 to 30 percent premium for posting it, because Influencer Marketing Hub publishes no tiers there. A retainer uses the monthly bands from Fueler.
- The add-ons. Paid ad use at 20 to 30 percent of the base per month, from PitchBrand's formula: base plus base times usage percent times months. Whitelisting or Spark Ads at 30 percent of the base per month. Raw footage at 30 to 50 percent of the base. A perpetual buyout at $800 to $3,000.
- Low, typical and high. Low and high are the ends of the published range. Typical is the source's own median where it gives one, and the middle of the range everywhere else.
- Exclusivity. None of the sources publishes a rate for it, so the calculator flags it and leaves the number to you.
Worked example. One UGC video file with 3 months of paid ad use and the raw footage. At typical figures that is $175 for the video, $131 for the ad use (25 percent of the base times 3 months) and $70 for the raw clips (40 percent of the base): $376 in all, inside a full range of $190 to $1,200. Fueler's flat figure for 90 days of paid use, $300 to $1,200, runs higher than the percentage method on a typical base, so the calculator prints it under the result as a cross-check.
The output is a reported market range: where published rate guides put deals today. A given brand or creator can land anywhere around it. For the full breakdown behind these numbers, read how much UGC creators make.
Influencer rates by platform and follower count
Influencer Marketing Hub's 2026 figures for one sponsored deliverable. If you are working out how much to pay influencers, start here. The calculator uses these figures for posts on these three platforms.
| Tier | Followers | Instagram, per post | TikTok, per video | YouTube, per sponsored video |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nano | under 10,000 | $10 to $100 | $50 to $200 | $20 to $200 |
| Micro | 10,000 to 100,000 | $100 to $500 | $200 to $800 | $200 to $1,000 |
| Macro | 100,000 to 1,000,000 | $500 to $10,000 | $800 to $5,000 | $1,000 to $20,000 |
| Mega | 1,000,000 and up | $10,000 to $100,000 | $5,000 to $50,000 | $20,000 to $50,000 |
Source: Influencer Marketing Hub, updated October 6, 2026, 2026 rate cheat sheet. The Instagram and YouTube cells for 100,000 to 1,000,000 followers span the mid-tier and macro figures in IMH's platform sections, and the Instagram mega cell comes from its mega section. Most of these ranges carry a plus sign on the source, so deals above the top figure exist.
A UGC video the creator never posts
Follower count drops out. Influee reports around $100 for beginners, a median near $175 and $500 or more for experienced creators. Collabstr's 2026 report, summarized by HelloPartner, puts the average UGC cost under $197 across more than 21,000 collaborations, with nearly 80 percent of all collaborations under $300.
Views beat followers on short video
Influencer Marketing Hub tells brands to look at recent average views, and notes that a creator whose videos outperform their follower count may charge above the range for their tier. Its nano rates page puts YouTube Shorts at $20 to $100, in line with TikTok pricing. For where the follower lines sit, see how many followers you need for a brand deal.
Usage rights, whitelisting, raw footage and exclusivity
Each extra the brand asks for is its own line on the invoice. Leave one off and it reads as included.
| Add-on | Reported rate | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Paid ad use on the brand's account | 20 to 30% of base per month | PitchBrand |
| Usage rights, one fee | 30 to 50% of base | Influee |
| 30 day paid ad use | $150 to $500 on top of base | Fueler |
| 90 day paid ad use | $300 to $1,200 on top of base | Fueler |
| Whitelisting or Spark Ads | 30% of base per month | Influee |
| Whitelisting or Spark Ads, flat | $100 to $500 a month | Fueler |
| Raw footage | 30 to 50% of base | Influee, Fueler |
| Full buyout (perpetual) | $800 to $3,000 per asset | Fueler |
| Organic use on the brand's channels | Commonly included for 3 to 6 months | PitchBrand |
| Exclusivity | No published rate | Influencer Marketing Hub, PitchBrand |
Whitelisting has two conventions. A share of the base per month, or a flat monthly fee. On a $200 base over two months, the first gives $320 and a mid range flat fee of $250 a month gives $700. Put the one you use in writing before the quote goes out. Whitelisting rates walks through both, and whitelisting vs Spark Ads vs partnership ads covers how each platform grants the permission.
Exclusivity has no published rate. Influencer Marketing Hub's own worked example adds $600 for 60 days of category exclusivity on a $2,000 Reel, and it labels that example illustrative. Price it by what you give up: how long, how wide the category, and which brands you would turn away in that time.
Perpetual rights cost the most. A buyout has no renewal point, so nobody gets to reprice it later. PitchBrand calls it something that should be “incredibly rare and incredibly expensive.” Write the term in months into the contract.
Definitions: usage rights, paid usage rights, whitelisting, Spark Ads, raw footage, exclusivity clause, perpetuity.
Flat fee, view bonus or CPM
Two deals with the same headline number can pay very differently once the views come in. The calculator prices a post three ways: flat, flat plus a view bonus, and CPM with a cap. On the Socialync job board an organic job can also pay per post, and a view bonus or CPM deal settles on views read from the platform API when the measurement window closes.
Flat fee
One amount for the deliverable. A weak post pays the same as a strong one. The reported range applies as it is.
Flat plus view bonus
The low end of the range is guaranteed. The gap to the high end is a view bonus, paid if the post passes a view count inside a window of 7 to 60 days.
CPM with a cap
A rate per 1,000 views, with a cap so the budget has a ceiling. The calculator turns the reported range into a CPM at the creator's average views.
Worked example: a TikTok creator with 20,000 followers averages 20,000 views. Divide the micro tier range of $200 to $800 by 20 (the views in thousands) and you get $10 to $40 per 1,000 views, with $25 in the middle. At that rate, capped at $800, a post that does twice the average pays $800, which is the cap. Brand deal CPM is a separate number from the RPM a platform pays from its ad program, which creator ad revenue covers.

Frequently asked questions
How much should I charge for a UGC video?
Influee's 2026 guide puts a content only UGC video at around $100 for beginners, with a median near $175 and $500 or more for experienced creators. Usage rights, whitelisting and raw footage go on top as their own lines. Those are figures one guide reports. Your rate is yours to set.
How much should I pay an influencer?
Influencer Marketing Hub's 2026 figures put a TikTok video from a micro creator (10,000 to 100,000 followers) at $200 to $800, and an Instagram post from the same tier at $100 to $500. Pick brand mode in the calculator, enter the creator's platform and follower count, and it adds usage rights, Spark Ads months and the Socialync fee to give you a budget range.
Can I use this as an influencer CPM calculator?
Yes. Pick an organic post on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, enter the average views and choose CPM. The calculator divides the reported posting range by the views in thousands, then shows what a capped CPM deal pays at half, one, two and four times the average.
How much do creators charge for whitelisting or Spark Ads?
Influee reports 30 percent of the base rate for each month the ad runs from the creator's handle. Fueler reports a flat $100 to $500 a month instead. The two conventions give very different totals, so agree on one before anyone names a number.
How much should I charge for usage rights?
PitchBrand reports paid social ads at 20 to 30 percent of the base rate per month, with 3 to 6 months of organic use commonly included in the base. Influee reports usage rights at 30 to 50 percent of the base. Fueler reports 30 day paid use at $150 to $500 on top of the base, and a full buyout at $800 to $3,000.
Does follower count change a UGC rate?
For a video file the brand runs itself, Influee says follower count is not relevant, because the brand is paying for the content. For a post on the creator's own account the audience is what the brand buys, so the calculator switches to Influencer Marketing Hub's follower tiers.
Is this what I will get paid?
Nobody can promise a number. These ranges are what published guides report others charging. Brands and creators agree their own price, and plenty of deals land outside the range.
What does Socialync charge?
Brands pay 5% of agreed creator pay on organic jobs, counted when delivery is confirmed, and 1.5% of attributed sales or 1.25% of ad spend on ads deals, never both. There is no plan and no subscription. Socialync takes nothing from creator pay, and the brand pays the creator directly.
Does the calculator store what I type?
No. The math runs in your browser and nothing you type is saved. Socialync's analytics note which options you picked, such as creator or brand mode. Follower counts, views and rates are never sent.
Creators: see the pay before you apply
Brands on the Socialync job board list the pay, the usage rights and the floor up front. If you clear the floor, the job shows up for you.
Brands: post this as a job
