What's New

Fresh from theSocialync workshop

Every feature, improvement, and fix we ship. Updated whenever something new lands.

  1. Improved

Tighter safety checks on the MCP server

More rate limiting, better scope checks, and clearer errors when an AI client tries to do something it shouldn't.

Now that more of you are wiring AI agents into Socialync via MCP, we tightened the rails:

    • Per key rate limits to keep a runaway agent from spamming a platform
    • Stricter validation on every tool call before it touches your accounts
    • Clearer error messages so the AI knows when it hit a limit vs. an actual problem
    • Plan gating enforced on the server, not just the client

If you're already using the MCP server you don't need to do anything, your existing key keeps working.

  2. New

    Invite collaborators to your profile

Bring teammates into Socialync. Invite up to five collaborators per profile on Business, with editor or viewer permissions.

Collaborators are live for Business plan accounts. Invite by email, pick a role, and they get access without needing to share your login.

    • Editor: draft, schedule, and post on your behalf
    • Viewer: see analytics and the queue, no edit access
    • Five collaborators per profile (the owner doesn't count toward the limit)
    • Invite flow handles the case where someone already has an account

If you run a small team or hand off scheduling to a VA, this should kill the last reason you were sharing passwords.

  3. Announcement

    Introducing the Business plan

A new tier built for teams and agencies. MCP access, up to five collaborators per profile, and additional profiles for $40/mo each.

We rolled out a third tier above Premium. Business is for the people who outgrew solo posting and want to bring teammates, clients, or AI agents into their workflow.

    What's in Business at $40/mo:

    • Full MCP server access for AI driven workflows
    • Up to five collaborators per profile with editor or viewer roles
    • Everything in Premium
    • Add additional profiles for $40/mo each (great for agencies running multiple brands)

Pricing also gets a new yearly option: Business is $360/yr (a clean $30/mo equivalent), Premium is $180/yr ($15/mo equivalent). Existing Premium subscribers keep their current pricing.

  4. New

    Community Spotlight is live

A new home for the people building with Socialync. Featured creators, the podcast, and ways to get involved.

We launched a Community page to spotlight the creators, streamers, and businesses growing with Socialync.

    What's there now:

    • Featured creators with their stories and the platforms they post to
    • A direct line to the Socialync Podcast
    • Submit your own story to get featured across the page and our channels

A community leaderboard for Premium members is in the works for a future update.

  5. New

    Bluesky is connected

Post to Bluesky from Socialync. OAuth login, full scheduling support, and analytics roll up alongside your other platforms.

Bluesky is officially in. If you've been waiting to consolidate your cross posting workflow, this was the missing piece for a lot of you.

    • Native OAuth (no app passwords to wrangle)
    • Scheduled posts work the same way as every other platform
    • Profile sync so your handle and avatar pull through
    • Analytics counts Bluesky alongside the rest

We worked through a couple of OAuth profile edge cases in the days after launch so connections are now rock solid.

  6. Improved

    Better analytics charts

Cleaner graphs, real timezone handling, and zero-fill so empty days actually show up as zero instead of disappearing from the chart.

A few rounds of polish on the analytics dashboard:

    • Missing days now render as zero instead of being skipped (you can see your gaps clearly)
    • Date range queries use a proper upper bound so today's posts always appear
    • Local timezone formatting throughout (no more "why does my Monday post show up on Sunday")
    • Faster initial load and smoother chart transitions

Small changes individually but together they make the dashboard a lot more trustworthy.

  7. New

Threads is now a first-class platform

Connect your Threads account, schedule posts, and manage replies right from Socialync. No more copy paste from your other tools.

Threads joins the lineup. Same flow as every other platform: connect once, schedule alongside the rest of your queue, and we handle the rest.

    What landed in this release:

    • OAuth connection with proper token refresh
    • Scheduling and posting (text and media)
    • Comment and reply management
    • Threads visible in analytics next to your other platforms

If you were already using us for Instagram, the Threads connection takes about ten seconds since you already have a Meta account linked.

  8. New

    Native analytics, finally

A real analytics dashboard built into Socialync. Track reach, engagement, and posting cadence across every platform without bouncing between five tabs.

Until now you had to leave Socialync to figure out how a post actually performed. No longer. The new analytics dashboard pulls metrics from every connected platform into one view.

    • Per platform breakdowns
    • Date range filtering with proper local timezone handling
    • Engagement, reach, and cadence over time
    • Drill into any single post for the full picture

Backed by PostHog for the event layer so the numbers are honest. We use postedAt from the post record itself for date stamping so a post that went live on Tuesday shows up on Tuesday, not whenever the metric was scraped.
