Socialync UGC ads
Run UGC ads with creators who post from their own accounts
A UGC ad on Socialync runs through a real creator's own account. Nothing here is AI-generated, and nobody buys the media for you. You put spend behind a post that already exists, inside your own Meta or TikTok ads account.
Three ways to run a UGC ad
Your account, their video
The creator makes the video. You run it from your own ad account and pay a commission on the results it drives, for as long as the licence runs.
Whitelisting on Instagram and Facebook
Meta partnership ads run the ad from the creator's own account, with permission granted first, inside the app. The ad looks like it came from them because it did.
Spark Ads on TikTok
TikTok boosts a creator's real, already-published post as a paid ad. A file sent privately is not eligible. The post has to exist on the creator's own account first.
The permission step and the licence both live on Socialync. Read what each term means in the whitelisting and Spark Ads glossary entries.
One clock runs the whole deal
Whitelisting and Spark Ads deals run on a single clock: the licence.
Licence granted
Rights to use the video, for a set number of months or forever, written into the listing before anyone applies.
Licence active
The ad runs on it. The brand can end the licence any time, for any reason.
Licence ends
The ad auto-pauses the moment it does. No separate step, no email to send.
A pixel is required on every ads campaign. Results attribute back to the ad instead of getting lost in your Ads Manager.
Results decide the commission
Attribution runs through Meta's own tools or a Shopify last-click model, whichever the brand uses. The brand pays the creator directly, on the terms stated on the listing. No fee comes out of what the brand pays the creator.
What it costs
A Socialync brand subscription covers running campaigns. It carries no fee per ad and no cut of creator pay. Starter and Growth plans are both on the brand pricing page.
How the pricing model differs
| Most UGC ad platforms | Socialync | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing basis | Per video or a percent commission | A monthly subscription |
| Ad budget sits with | The platform or an agency | Your own ads account |
| Finding creators | Often a browsable directory | A campaign with a floor; applicants apply |
| Fee on creator pay | Often, on the creator's side | None |
One monthly subscription covers every campaign you run under it. A second round of ad tests costs nothing extra.
Questions brands ask about UGC ads
Is a UGC ad the same as an AI-generated UGC-style ad?
No. Every ad on Socialync's job board runs through a real creator's own account. Nothing is generated.
What is whitelisting?
Running a paid ad from the creator's own account instead of the brand's, with the creator's permission granted first.
What are Spark Ads?
TikTok's ad format for boosting a creator's own published post as a paid ad. The post has to exist first.
Who sets the ad budget?
The brand, inside its own Meta or TikTok ads account. Socialync tracks the post and the licence. Your ad spend stays in your own ads account.
Does Socialync take a cut of the commission?
No. No fee comes out of what the brand pays the creator.
Do I need a pixel?
Yes. Ads campaigns need a pixel so results attribute back to the ad.
No directory. No fee on creator pay.
You never browse or search creators on Socialync. You post the campaign, review who applies, and choose. The brand pays the creator directly, and no fee comes out of it. Founding brands are live the moment the board opens, November 1 at 12:01 PM ET.
