Post to TikTok with Claude
Claude schedules TikTok videos through Socialync's MCP server, which is included on the free plan with no card. Upload the video in Socialync, find Socialync in Claude's connector directory, and ask Claude to schedule it. Claude asks who can view it on TikTok first, and the same request can send it to Instagram Reels and YouTube.

Connect TikTok to Socialync
Create a free Socialync account (no card), open Settings, then Connections, and connect TikTok through TikTok's own sign in. Add Instagram and YouTube in the same place if you want Reels and YouTube too. All three work on the free plan.

Add the connector in Claude
Claude.ai: Settings, then Connectors, then Browse connectors, search Socialync, click Connect, sign in to Socialync, pick the brand. Put the video in Socialync
Upload it in Socialync, or give Claude a public video link. A chat cannot carry a video file to a connector. Schedule an upload within about 12 hours, because Socialync clears unused uploads after that. If Claude rendered the video itself, in Claude Code for example, it can upload it straight to your Socialync library.

Ask Claude to schedule it
For example: "Schedule my newest video to TikTok, Reels and YouTube for Friday at 6pm. YouTube title: My morning edit routine." Claude finds the video and checks its length, size and format against each platform.

Pick who can view it, then say yes
Claude asks who can view the video on TikTok: Everyone, Friends, Followers or Only me. Then it shows you the video, captions, platforms and time, and asks your permission before it schedules. The posts land in your Socialync calendar.

You choose who sees it on TikTok
TikTok's rules for apps that post on your behalf say the viewer setting has to be your own choice, with nothing picked in advance. So Claude asks you before it schedules anything to TikTok: Everyone, Friends, Followers or Only me. It never picks one for you, and when Claude is signed in through the connector, Socialync refuses a TikTok post that arrives without your answer. Ask for five videos at once and one answer covers the batch.
Followers works on private TikTok accounts only. On a public account, pick Friends or Only me to keep a video limited. When Claude asks, it also tells you that posting means agreeing to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation.

One video, three feeds
TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube from one request. Add Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky or X (paid plans) in the same message. One publish counts as one post.
A caption per platform
A short hook for TikTok, a longer caption for Reels, a title and description for YouTube. YouTube treats a vertical video of up to 3 minutes as a Short.
Checked before it is queued
Claude runs Socialync's check on video length, file size, format and each account's connection before it schedules anything.
TikTok's own settings
Comments, Duets and Stitches stay on unless you ask Claude to turn them off. Claude can also add TikTok's AI-generated label or a promotional content label.
Drafts you approve in the app
Ask for a draft when you want to look first, and approve it on your Socialync drafts page. A draft you do not approve expires after 24 hours.
Queue and numbers
List what is queued, cancel a post, see what failed and why, and pull views, likes, comments and shares for TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.
Limits
- From Claude, TikTok and YouTube take video only. TikTok photo posts go through the Socialync app.
- Video is scheduled, never instant, because the platforms take minutes to process it.
- YouTube needs a title on every video.
- TikTok has no first comment through Socialync, so keep hashtags in the caption.
- 5 AI-created posts a day per brand on free, 10 on paid. Each future day has its own allowance.
- Free plan: 5 posts a month, and one publish to three platforms counts as one post. Paid from $20/month: unlimited posts.
Frequently asked questions
Can Claude post to TikTok?
Yes, as a scheduled video. Claude uses Socialync's MCP server, and the video goes out through the TikTok account you connected with TikTok's own sign in.
Why can't I just send the video to Claude?
A chat cannot carry video files to a connector. Upload the video in Socialync once, then tell Claude to schedule it. A public video link works too.
Who decides who can see my TikTok?
You do. Claude asks you to pick Everyone, Friends, Followers or Only me, and Socialync sends your choice to TikTok with the video. One answer can cover every video you ask Claude to schedule together. Followers works on private TikTok accounts only, so on a public account pick Friends or Only me to keep a video limited.
Can the same video go to Reels and YouTube Shorts?
Yes. Name the platforms in one message. YouTube needs a title, each platform can get its own caption, and YouTube treats a vertical video of up to 3 minutes as a Short.
Can Claude add a TikTok sound?
Not today. Socialync posts the video with the audio already in it. To use a sound from TikTok's library, post from the TikTok app.
Will Claude post without asking me?
No. Claude shows you the video, captions, platforms and time and waits for your yes, and it asks your permission before it runs a publishing tool. You can also ask for a draft and approve it in the Socialync app.
