Uploads that stall and posts that fail
An upload bar frozen at 0 percent with no error almost always means a browser extension or network filter is blocking the upload: turn off the ad blocker for socialync.io or retry in a private window, and try a different network if you are on an office or school connection. A post that fails on one platform is saved as a draft with its media so you can retry that platform only.

Upload never moves
- Media uploads go straight from your browser to our storage. Content blockers such as uBlock, Brave Shields, AdGuard, and Pi-hole, and some corporate proxies, block that domain. Allow socialync.io in the blocker or use a private window with extensions off.
- If the site itself loads but every upload dies, it is the blocker, not your connection.
- On a very slow connection a large video can time out; export a smaller file (H.264 MP4) and try again.
A post failed
- Failed posts land in Drafts with the original caption, media, and settings. Retry all platforms or only the ones that failed. Free plans keep 3 failed drafts for 7 days; paid plans keep 20 for 30 days.
- A Reconnect prompt means the platform revoked or expired access; reconnect under Settings, Connections, then retry.
- TikTok has a daily cap on posts sent through any third-party app. Scheduled posts retry on their own; a failed post can be retried a few hours later or posted in the TikTok app.
- Instagram "caption too long" usually means more than 30 hashtags. Instagram video errors usually mean a codec or length problem: 3 to 90 seconds, MP4, H.264.
- Facebook video that will not process: re-export as MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio.
