How cross-posting works
You create one post and Socialync sends it to every platform you selected, through each platform’s official API, at the same time or at the scheduled time. Each platform can get its own caption, hashtags, title, first comment, and settings. One publish counts as one post toward your monthly allowance regardless of how many platforms it reaches.

Per-platform adjustments
- Caption overrides: write one caption, then change it for any platform. The composer shows the character limit that applies to each.
- Titles: YouTube requires one. TikTok photo posts derive a title from the first line of the caption.
- First comments: on Instagram, Threads, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Bluesky you can queue up to 5 comments that post right after the post goes live, with a different list per platform if you want. Links do better in a first comment than in the caption on most platforms.
- AI-generated label: one switch marks a post as AI-generated where the platform offers that flag at publish time (TikTok videos, YouTube, Instagram). Facebook, Threads, X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky have no such flag, so nothing is sent there.
What happens when one platform fails
Each platform is published independently. If Instagram succeeds and TikTok fails, the Instagram post stays up and the TikTok leg is saved as a draft with its media and settings so you can retry only the platform that failed.
