Gambling and betting promotion is no longer allowed
Our Acceptable Use Policy now prohibits promoting gambling, sports betting, casinos, lotteries, and sweepstakes through Socialync, including affiliate links and referral codes.
We updated our Acceptable Use Policy. You may no longer use Socialync to promote:
- Gambling, sports betting, and online casinos
- Lotteries and sweepstakes
- Affiliate links, referral codes, and bonus-code offers for any of the above
Why
Meta, X, and most of the other networks we publish to apply their own restrictions to this category, and several of them require prior authorization to run it at all. When a post trips those rules two things follow. The account that published it can be restricted or lose posting access, and repeated violations through our apps put Socialync's platform access at risk, which affects every person publishing through us.
This category was not spelled out before, which left the line in an unhelpful place for everyone. It is spelled out now.
