Connecting TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X
TikTok connects with a personal or Business account. YouTube needs a channel on the Google account you sign in with. LinkedIn connects a personal profile or a Company Page. X is available on paid plans. Threads connects on its own, separately from Instagram. Bluesky uses an app password rather than a login.

Platform by platform
| Platform | What to know |
|---|---|
| TikTok | Personal and Business accounts both work through TikTok’s official API. TikTok caps how many accounts can publish through any third-party app in a day; if that cap is hit, a scheduled post retries on its own over the next hours and a failed post can be retried once time has passed. |
| YouTube | Sign in with the Google account that owns the channel. If the account has no channel yet, create one on youtube.com (profile picture, then Create a channel), come back, and connect. Every upload needs a title. |
| Connect your personal profile, a Company Page you administer, or both. Each is one connected account. | |
| X | Paid plans include 1 X account; each additional X account is $10 a month. X is not on the free plan because X charges for every post an app sends. |
| Threads | Connect with your Threads account directly. It is a separate connection from Instagram even when the two share a login. |
| Bluesky | In Bluesky, open Settings, then Privacy and security, then App passwords, and create one for Socialync. Paste it into the Bluesky connect dialog. Never use your main password. |
When a connection expires
Platforms issue access for a limited time and sometimes revoke it early, for example after a password change. Socialync refreshes what it can in the background; when a platform insists on a fresh login, the account shows a Reconnect button in Settings under Connections. Reconnecting keeps your scheduled posts and history.
