Originally "snatched" referred to a look so good it figuratively snatched your wig off (see: "wig"). It broadened from beauty and fashion into general approval — a snatched edit, a snatched transition, a snatched fit.
In beauty content it specifically describes contoured, lifted, defined features and a cinched silhouette. As all-purpose praise it overlaps with "slay" and "ate," and it carries an extra connotation of precision and polish rather than just being good.

A fit check is showing off your outfit — "fit" being short for "outfit." Creators post a fit check to display what they are wearing, often with a quick spin, mirror shot, or transition. It is one of the most reliable short-form content formats in fashion and streetwear.
