I've watched a lot of accounts plateau and the patterns are obvious from outside.
Mistake 1: Switching formats every 2 weeks
You see a creator do well with a different style and you try it. The algorithm gets confused. Your existing followers get confused. You go back to square one on signals.
Fix: pick a format, commit for 30 days, only switch if it provably isn't working after 30 posts.
Mistake 2: Checking analytics daily
The data set is too small for daily checks to mean anything. Daily checks lead to overcorrecting based on noise.
