Affiliate Program Terms

These terms cover the Socialync affiliate program between you and Socialync LLC. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. How the program works in practice is on the affiliate program page.

Joining. You need a Socialync account. Customers on a paid plan can get a link in Settings after their first payment, and anyone else can apply at jack@socialync.io. We can approve or decline any application.
Commission. 30% of the amount Socialync receives from each customer you refer, after tax and after any app store fee, on every payment in the 12 months after their first payment. A different rate applies only when we agree it with you in writing.
Who counts. A customer counts when they sign up within 90 days of clicking your link, or enter your code before their first payment, in Settings or at checkout on socialync.io. The last link clicked before signup wins, and once an account is credited to a partner it stays with that partner. Accounts that already paid us don't count.
Hold and payment. Commissions are held 30 days, then paid through Stripe once your cleared balance reaches $25. Stripe pays partners in the US, Canada, the UK, the EEA and Switzerland. You complete Stripe's identity and tax forms. You pay your own taxes.
Reversals. A refund or chargeback reverses the matching commission. If the commission was already paid, the amount comes off your next payout.
Disclosure. You disclose that you earn a commission wherever you share your link.
Not allowed. Paid search ads on Socialync brand terms; spam; coupon or deal sites; paying or rewarding people to sign up; referring yourself or your own accounts; misleading claims about Socialync, including prices or features it doesn't have.
Breaking the rules. We can withhold commissions earned through a breach and close the account.
Changes. We can change these terms with 30 days' notice on this page. Commissions already earned keep the old terms.
Ending. Either side can end this at any time. We pay cleared commissions earned before the end.
Relationship. You are an independent partner. You can't make promises on Socialync's behalf or contact anyone in Socialync's name.
